Favorite color: Red or Blue
Favorite food: Pizza all the way!
Hobbies: I love to write, workout, and travel!
Instrument(s)/Auxiliary Equipment/Drum Major: I did color guard for marching band, however played clarinet in school.
List all band classes (if applicable), band/guard groups, and how many years participated in each, etc.: pep band 7th-12th, concert 6th-12th, marching band 8th-12th, honors band 9th-10th, jazz band 8th, and winter guard 8th-10th
Favorite band/guard memory: There's so many memories I could pick from but if I had to pick one it would be the day we had practice and the band was in stretch block and had the box out during this season and it was really windy and the box up and blew/rolled away and all of the directors and drum majors ran after it and then it blew open and almost took out Arnold and the entire band just stopped what they were doing to watch this all go down as the directors and drum majors were trying to catch the box, possibly one of the funniest memories of the pandora's lament season.
Best advice you’ve received: I think the best advice I received is from Mr. Arnold himself and that is to practice like you're performing. It really puts into perspective that you're going to perform the way you practiced so why not give it your all no matter what?
Future plans: Currently I plan to continue to travel to all 50 states over the next couple of years as well as figure out my career plans in the mean time while just living life to its fullest. :)
Advice for rookies: My advice to rookies is to do the best you can and always ask for help when you need it, the vets are there to help you and show you the way so never be afraid to ask for help. And at the end of the day I know it can be overwhelming or frustrating sometimes to not have things go the way you want them but I promise it will pay off in the end at state you just have to give it your all and keep trying and never give up and also cherish the relationships you have with everyone because I've made some of the best friends I could ask for in marching band.
Message to Director(s): I want to start by saying thank you for everything as these last few years have been some of the best years of my life and it wouldn't be possible without the directors giving up their time to teach us and push us to give our all so we can achieve our goal of going to state. I also want to say thank you for making me the person I am today as without the directors I wouldn't have learned some very important life lessons that made me who I am. Lastly thank you for your time and dedication these last few years to the marching band, you always say you're here because of us, but in reality we're here because of you guys and the love and support you give us to pursue our passion, so thank you and I will miss you all dearly!
How has the band/guard program impacted you?: It gave me so many friendships and memories that are going to last a lifetime that I am so thankful for. It also showed me if I really want something in life that I'm going to have to put the work in to get it.
If you could go back and change ONE thing, it would be: To savor every little moment I could, No one ever expected covid but when it shut down/changed things for a while it really made me miss how things were, and even made the comeback for a normal marching season this year a bit harder on everyone, so if I could change one thing it would be to take in everything and savor it while I can because you never know what you have until it's gone.
What you will be doing ten years from now: To be honest I'm not sure what I will be doing exactly, but in 10 years I hope I'll still be traveling the states and just really enjoying life and what it has to offer me and continuing to follow my dreams and passions.

Favorite band/guard memory: Its a tie between Mr. Arnold and Mr. Fields making animal noises for our recording at Disney my 8th grade year and the suspenseful moment right before you hear the announcement that Edgewood received a superior rating (Or maybe the clipboard incident, but we don't talk about that)
Best advice you’ve received: Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect
Future plans: Attend Miami University to study Zoology
Advice for rookies: Go out of your comfort zone. Make it a goal to try and befriend one upper classman before your rookie year is over. It makes becoming a confident member of the group so much easier and you make a friend, double win!
Message to Director(s): Thank you for everything you've done for me. You've given me the opportunities to pursue my passion and make the best friends I've ever had. You've both made band feel like family and it means the world to me. I need to double and triple thank you both for pushing me to gain confidence no matter how stubborn I tried to be, I can't imagine how different things would be if you didn't help me grow. Mr. Fields, thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of band and seeing enough potential in me to let me have that 5th year of marching band. Mr. Arnold, thank you for making me take leaps and always being there for me when I need you. You're both wonderful!
